FIELD TRIP INFORMATION & POLICIES:
NEW REFUND POLICY: In order to receive a refund/household credit for a field trip that your child does not go on, we must be informed about a cancellation at least 1 week prior to the trip This is due to field trip locations requiring head counts 1 week in advance). This includes unforeseen illnesses. No refunds for those w/ inclusive FT package. (Policy in place for planning and safety purposes).
· FIELD TRIP CHECK-IN POLICY: All children who are scheduled to go on the field trip must report to camp or we must receive a call by 8:45 am to confirm their attendance to be there 15 minutes before scheduled departure. If we do not receive a call or they have not shown up by 8:45 am – we reserve the right to fill their seat with someone on the waiting list. No refunds will be given. Please understand, this policy has been put into place for to ensure field trip buses are leaving on time and we are not holding up a bus (filled with children) waiting to see if a child may or may not show up to camp that day who are scheduled to be on the trip.
INCLEMENT WEATHER/Cancelled Trip: If a trip is cancelled due to inclement weather or for any reason out of our control, we will make every effort to move the day of trip or go on a similar trip. We will notify any changes to families on our Camp Facebook page.
· TIME FRAME: We will do our best to keep to this schedule, however, departure & arrival times are approximations only! We reserve the right to alter times without prior notice and/or change specific trips due to weather or some other unforeseen circumstance. Which highly suggest you like us on FACEBOOK to get all the most updated info on trips.
· CAMP T-SHIRTS: Every child going on a field trip must wear a camp t-shirt. T-shirts can be purchased at the front desk for $15. If a camper doesn’t have a field trip t-shirt and they are scheduled to go on a field trip, parents will be called to purchase another over the phone so your camper has a shirt for trip.
· DROP & PICK UP: For safety reasons, we do not permit Parents/Guardians to drop off or pick up their camper at a field trip location (unless it is an emergency and approved by calling 659-8581 and discussing with Rec Staff).
